Job summary

OWL Services is seeking a Field Service Technician to service and install electronic equipment including security POS and EV charging stations in Sandusky, Ohio. The role requires mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to travel 30–40% overnight to support installations and servicing.

High school diploma or equivalent is required. Candidates should be able to work independently, follow safety protocols, and operate computers and smartphones for diagnostics and reporting.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills required.
• 1+ years’ experience working in an electrical capacity preferred.
• Willingness to travel 30–40% overnight and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots, inspects, and repairs electro‑mechanical devices (cash registers, coin changers, security equipment, alarms, POS).
• Manage EV charger testing requirements (torque, thermal imagery, insulation, performance reports).
• Identify system issues and fix ground faults; complete service requests promptly.
