The Director of Sales, Europe for the Aerospace, Defense, and Marine BU will partner with the AD&M VP of Global Sales and Marketing to drive the Go-to-Market growth strategy for the business and increase revenue in Europe, aiming to outpace market growth.

This leader will be responsible for driving direct and indirect sales with a primary focus on market share growth across the product portfolio within our customer base. They will lead a team of account and sales managers dedicated to growing the business and delivering an exceptional customer experience. The leader must possess a keen understanding of the Aerospace & Defense industry, customer base, electronic distribution, and the competitive landscape.

Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and lead the Europe Go-To-Market sales strategy.
  2. Lead the sales team to meet or exceed commitments (revenue growth, market share growth, account profitability, and customer satisfaction).
  3. Ensure sales coverage aligns with strategy and manage resource utilization to maximize revenue.
  4. Build and develop the capabilities of customer service, account managers, field application engineers, sales managers, and key account managers to execute the strategy.
  5. Develop initiatives and localized teams to improve customer service and meet customer scorecard performance and satisfaction.
  6. Build strategic, executive-level customer relationships, demonstrate TE capabilities and technologies, capture customer insights, and translate these into regional strategies to grow share.
  7. Support Business Development and Sales efforts, account plans, and strategies for Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3 business.
  8. Lead strategic customer growth through alignment with product management on share gain and new product development initiatives.
  9. Lead cross-functional alignment to drive customer contract negotiations aligned with TE business requirements.
Required Background:
  • Proven sales management and leadership experience.
  • Previous knowledge of the Aerospace and Defense market is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s Degree with technical knowledge or discipline; MBA preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in building and developing high-performing sales teams.
  • Strong business, commercial, and technical acumen.
  • Ability to develop and implement sales strategies to grow revenue and market share.
  • Experience in demand planning and sales operations.
  • Able to handle ambiguity while managing vision and purpose.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals and outperform market growth.
  • Strategic thinker and visionary leader.
  • Ability to build strong relationships within a diverse, global organization.
  • Analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Sense of urgency and bias for action.
  • Knowledge of systems like Salesforce, MS Office, SAP.
  • Experience with American markets is desirable.
