The Sales Director is a senior leader within the Tawkify Commercial organization, responsible for driving revenue performance, optimizing sales operations, and leading a high-performing team of Client Advisors. This individual is accountable for day-to-day team management, sales forecasting and planning, performance analysis, and the overall health and efficiency of the inside sales funnel. They will serve as a strategic partner across departments including Marketing, Matchmaking, Business Operations, Finance, and Product to ensure alignment with growth goals and client satisfaction.

The Sales Director will lead with a data-informed mindset, using performance analytics and sales metrics to guide strategy and optimize team productivity. They will ensure consistent execution of best practices in Salesforce CRM, oversee sales reporting processes, and continuously refine team workflows and systems to drive improved outcomes. With deep expertise in consultative sales, this leader will coach and develop Client Advisors to exceed individual and team KPIs while upholding the integrity, warmth, and professionalism that Tawkify clients expect.

This role requires a passionate and experienced sales leader with a proven track record of delivering results, building high-performing teams, and scaling operations in a fast-paced environment. Strong emotional intelligence, operational rigor, and a desire to continually refine systems and processes are essential.

Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Performance Management

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of Client Advisors, ensuring high levels of motivation, accountability, and results.
  • Set and manage to clear revenue targets, pipeline goals, and conversion metrics.
  • Develop and maintain a sales performance management system with clear KPIs and regular feedback loops.
  • Provide regular coaching and development to team members through call reviews, performance check-ins, and skill development workshops.
  • Own sales forecasting and revenue modeling, using historical data and market trends to set realistic yet ambitious growth targets.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Marketing, and Sales Operations to align on forecasts, capacity planning, and budget needs.
  • Proactively identify gaps in the funnel and implement strategies to improve conversion at every stage.
  • Serve as the organizational expert in Salesforce CRM, owning the implementation of best practices for tracking, reporting, and pipeline hygiene.
  • Partner with Sales Operations to continuously refine tools and processes that support team efficiency and reporting accuracy.
  • Oversee the integrity of sales data and ensure the team adheres to internal policies around CRM usage and documentation.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Create and manage dashboards and reports that give real-time visibility into individual and team performance.
  • Analyze sales trends, customer insights, and team behavior to inform decision-making and coaching opportunities.
  • Translate data into action by identifying drivers of success or underperformance and implementing targeted initiatives.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with Matchmaking and Customer Success leadership to ensure seamless handoffs and exceptional client journeys.
  • Collaborate with Marketing on lead quality, campaign optimization, and messaging alignment.
  • Work with Product to communicate frontline sales feedback and surface opportunities for innovation or tool improvement.

Process Optimization & Innovation

  • Identify and implement improvements to sales workflows, playbooks, and training programs.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement, testing new approaches to messaging, objection handling, and deal closing.
  • Lead strategic initiatives aimed at increasing efficiency, reducing churn, and enhancing client satisfaction.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in inside sales leadership, preferably in a high-touch B2C or services environment; matchmaking, luxury services, or lifestyle brands are a plus.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales goals and leading teams to high performance.
  • Deep knowledge of Salesforce CRM and strong technical acumen with reporting tools and sales dashboards.
  • Exceptional coaching, team development, and leadership skills; able to inspire and grow individual contributors into top performers.
  • Experience owning revenue forecasting, sales planning, and analytics in partnership with executive stakeholders.
  • Highly organized and operationally minded, with strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable presenting to senior leadership and facilitating training sessions.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to thrive in a remote work environment with minimal supervision.
  • Comfort with a dynamic, fast-paced environment and a desire to evolve with the business.
  • Schedule flexibility and a willingness to support team needs across time zones and all days of the week. Please note the sales team works every day of the year, with the exception of Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.

This is a fully remote position. Candidates must have a reliable high-speed internet connection and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, distributed team environment.

This is a full-time, exempt role. The base salary for this position is dependent on location, experience, and is eligible to participate in Tawkify’s employee benefits offerings.
