Job description

Our client is an innovative start-up in the electrophysiology industry, developing cutting-edge products designed to treat arrhythmia-related heart conditions. As they prepare to expand our presence in the U.S. market, they are seeking experienced Regional Sales Director to drive our US commercialization efforts, build and lead a high-performing team, and leverage their deep industry relationships to achieve rapid growth.

The Regional Commercial Director will play a critical role in developing and executing our client's commercial strategy. This leader will be responsible for growing the commercial team in their region, developing and implementing sales plans, building out robust training programs, and fostering a results-driven culture that aligns with our mission to improve arrhythmia-related patient outcomes.

Please note that this is a remote role, and there are multiple regions available.

Qualifications of the Regional Sales Director:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences, Biology, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in commercial leadership roles within the medical device or electrophysiology industry.
• Proven track record of successfully launching and scaling medical device products in the U.S. market.
• Deep relationships and credibility within the electrophysiology community.
• Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong understanding of the EP market and regulatory environment.

Responsibilities of the Regional Commercial Director:

• Team Building: Recruit, develop, and manage a high-performing commercial team, including sales reps, marketing, and support roles, fostering a culture of accountability and success.
• Revenue Target: Leverage existing relationships with electrophysiologists, healthcare providers, and industry stakeholders to drive product adoptions, market penetration and meet or exceed revenue targets.
• Commercial Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive U.S. commercialization strategy for our EP product portfolio, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
• Forecasting and Planning: Establish accurate sales forecasts and develop plans to achieve aggressive growth targets, adapting to market dynamics.
• Training and Development: Create and oversee robust training programs for the sales team, ensuring a deep understanding of the products, competitive landscape, and customer needs.
• Market Insight: Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform strategic decisions and optimize go-to-market efforts.
