Job summary

BELFOR is seeking a General Estimator to join our team in the United States. The role focuses on creating and managing estimates for residential, commercial, and industrial projects, using Xactimate to develop quality, competitive estimates and to manage work through completion.

The GE handles large losses and coordinates with insurance adjusters and commercial clients across a regional scope. The position requires strong analytical and communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and

Qualifications

• 3 plus years' experience in Construction, Restoration or Contents Estimating.
• Residential estimating experience > $50,000 and Commercial estimating > $100,000.
• English literacy and fluency.
• Must use BELFOR Estimate Format Standards for Xactimate estimates, proposals, etc.
• Extensive Customer Service experience.

Responsibilities

• Complete multi-sketches with multi-levels and/or roof sketches with accuracy.
• Create accurate scopes with few over/under scopes.
• Create floor plans and multi-level/roof sketches in Xactimate Sketch.
• Maintain knowledge of local building codes.
• Adhere to budgets and address overages as needed.
• Interact with owners, adjusters, and consultants during scope development.
