Job summary

BELFOR Franchise Group is seeking an Estimator in the United States to create and manage estimates for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. You will meet with clients, develop quality estimates using Xactimate, and manage work through completion.

You will review budgets and invoices, ensure costs are included, and communicate progress with clients and management. Training will lead to higherEstimator levels as you progress.

Qualifications

• English literacy and fluency.
• Knowledge of MSDS data sheets and applicability to jobs.
• Must use the BELFOR Estimate Format Standards for Xactimate estimates, proposals, etc.
• Extensive customer service experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills; experience with Xactimate.
• Professional demeanor and appearance; excellent telephone skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain local area clientele; clientele includes insurance adjusters and local businesses.
• Create accurate floor plans in Xactimate Sketch.
• Must have working knowledge of applicable building codes.
• Create and adhere to budgets; address overages as they present themselves.
• Use BELFOR naming convention for estimates, revised estimates, proposals, change orders, etc.
• Maintain construction schedules and coordinate with trades to ensure timely completion.
