Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Estimator in Training to learn how to diagnose and prepare vehicle repair estimates accurately and profitably. You will work with our Estimator to communicate value and maintain high close rates with insurance partners.

You’ll greet customers, map damages, upload photographs, and verify teardown estimates while coordinating with production and repair teams to finalize the job plan and parts list.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required for the role.
• Must successfully complete 16 I-CAR units within 12 months.
• Prefer 4–6 years related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet customer at repair drop-off and build rapport.
• Map damage with customer and capture photos.
• Upload photos and notes to CCC One with details.
• Verify estimate during teardown and finalize parts list.
• Set and review promise date with customer and update regularly.
• Assist insurance adjusters with damage reports.
