Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Estimator in Training to learn estimate development and repair planning. You will work with the Estimator to diagnose vehicle damage, generate accurate estimates, and communicate value to customers at drop-off and throughout the process.

The role prioritizes customer service, detail, and teamwork. Must complete 16 I-CAR units within 12 months and possess strong communication and computer skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required.
• Prior customer service experience.
• Must complete 16 I-CAR units within the first 12 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers at repair drop off and build rapport.
• Assist with damage mapping and initial photos.
• Verify estimates during teardown and finalize using the Repair Planning Template.
• Coordinate with repair team to ensure windshield notations are correct.
• Update customers regularly on estimate and promise date as per standards.
