Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Perry, GA is seeking an Estimator in Training who will learn to diagnose and prepare vehicle repair estimates per insurance partner and company guidelines, under the guidance of an experienced estimator.

You will greet customers, map damage, photograph, upload notes, finalize estimates, and coordinate with repair teams to support a high closing rate and timely repairs in a fast-paced shop environment. Strong communication and accuracy are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior customer service experience preferred.
• Must complete 16 I-CAR units within 12 months of employment.
• Photo-imaging software experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers at repair drop off and build rapport.
• Map damage and take initial photos; upload notes to CCC One.
• Finalize estimate using Repair Planning Template and set promise date.
• Keep customers updated on estimate and repair status.
• Assist insurance adjusters with damage reports as needed.
