Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is hiring an Estimator in Training to learn how to diagnose and prepare repair estimates accurately, in line with insurance partner and company guidelines. The role supports the estimator and focuses on improving the sales conversion through effective communication and detailed damage assessment.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Prior customer service experience.
• Must currently possess or successfully complete 16 I‑CAR units within the first 12 months of employment.
• Preferred: 4-6 years related work experience. Photo-imaging software experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers at repair drop off and build rapport.
• Map damage with customer and identify WOW opportunities.
• Assist in repair mapping, take initial photographs, and upload notes/photos to CCC One.
• Notify production that vehicle arrived and place in production queue; verify estimate during teardown.
• Finalize estimate using Repair Planning Template and review with team.
