Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Estimator in Training to learn diagnosing and preparing repair estimates accurately according to insurance and company guidelines. You will communicate value to customers and strive for a high close rate.

You will work with the Estimator, greet customers, map damage, upload photos, verify the estimate, and keep customers updated throughout the process with WOW-driven standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 16 I-CAR units within 12 months of employment.
• Preferred: 4–6 years related work experience; photo-imaging software experience.
• Excellent communication and computer literacy required.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers at repair drop off and build rapport.
• Map damage with customer and review WOW opportunities.
• Prepare and finalize estimates using Repair Planning Template.
• Upload photos and notes to CCC One with arrival time details.
• Notify production and verify estimates during teardown.
• Maintain customer updates per management standards.
• Assist insurance adjusters with damage reports and re-inspections.
