Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Estimator in Training to learn how to diagnose and prepare repair estimates following insurance partner and company guidelines. You will partner with the Estimator to produce accurate, profitable estimates and communicate value to customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior customer service experience.
• Must currently possess or successfully complete 16 I-CAR units within the first 12 months of employment.
• Preferred: 4-6 years related work experience; Photo-imaging software experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers at repair intake and build rapport.
• Map damage with customer and document loss details.
• Prepare and finalize repair estimates using Repair Planning Template.
• Coordinate with production and repair teams to ensure accurate parts lists.
• Update customers regularly on estimate status and promised dates.
• Assist insurance adjusters and re-inspectors as needed.
• Support in communication and scheduling throughout the repair process.
