Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Estimator in Training to learn how to diagnose and prepare repair estimates following company guidelines. You will work with the Estimator to map damage, photograph, and finalize estimates while coordinating with customers and insurance adjusters.

The role prioritizes communication, accuracy, and timely updates to customers, with opportunities in our growing collision and glass services team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must complete 16 I-CAR units within 12 months of employment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers at repair drop off and build rapport.
• Map damage with customer and prepare initial photos and notes.
• Finalize estimate using Repair Planning Template and set promise date.
• Update customers regularly and coordinate with production and insurance adjusters.
