Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Estimator in Training to learn the estimating process and support the repair team. You will diagnose damage, prepare estimates, and communicate value to customers and insurance partners, aiming for a high close rate.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must complete 16 I-CAR units within the first 12 months of employment.
• Prior customer service experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers and builds rapport at repair drop-off.
• Maps damage and prepares initial estimates.
• Finalizes estimates using Repair Planning Template.
• Communicates value and status to customers and insurance representatives.
• Maintains accurate notes and photos in CCC One system.
• Coordinates with production and repair teams to ensure accurate estimates.
