Job summary

Sundt Construction is seeking an Estimator I/II in Dallas to support the preconstruction department across single large projects or multiple smaller projects. You will participate in bids, work with Design Build and CM at Risk teams, and provide estimating support and document control.

This developmental role expects competence in basic estimating tasks and growing knowledge in conceptual estimating, project logistics, and indirect costs, under senior guidance.

Qualifications

• Experience: Estimator I 1–3 years; Estimator II 2–5 years.
• Four year engineering degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and related experience.
• LEED accreditation preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Proficient use of all Microsoft Office Suite programs.

Responsibilities

• Accurately perform quantity takeoff.
• Assist in pricing project logistics (hoisting, personnel lifts, temporary elements).
• Develop abstracts and evaluate basic trade bids.
• Understand indirect costs (insurance, taxes, fees).
• Develop pricing for basic project elements; assist in deliverables.
