Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Arlington Heights is seeking an Estimator to deliver exceptional customer experiences while accurately assessing vehicle damage and coordinating repairs with insurance clients. You’ll document estimates, parts, and communicate with customers daily.

The role drives KPIs and requires knowledge of DRP processes, I-CAR training, and a valid driver’s license. A high school diploma is required; automotive repair knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of repairs and OE guidelines.
• Basic computer skills.
• Compliance for DRP’s minimum of 1-year experience.
• Must be willing to complete I-CAR Training.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Ensure every customer interaction is documented, updated efficiently and accurately with pertinent details.
• Provide customer with accurate and timely information, guiding them through the repair process and ensuring excellent customer service.
• Ensure compliance with all insurance client requirements, processes and metrics.
• Ensure compliance with WOW Operating Ways regarding customer drop-offs, repair planning, customer communication, and delivery.
• Communicate all customer requests and needs to appropriate team members.
• Provides positive energy when greeting customers in person and on the phone.
• Understand required insurance programs and procedures.
• Participate in daily production walks with Management.
• Support team members when required.
• Attend training, information sessions, and workshops as recommended by Store Manager.
