Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Dundalk, MD is seeking an Estimator to provide exceptional customer experience by preparing accurate damage estimates and coordinating repairs. You will document vehicle damage, inform customers and insurance companies, and guide them through the repair process from start to finish.

The role requires reviewing OE guidelines, maintaining clear communication with the team and clients, and ensuring adherence to DRP procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in collision repair estimating or related field.
• Knowledge of repairs and OE guidelines is essential.
• I-CAR training or certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Document and maintain every customer interaction with relevant details and timelines.
• Provide customers with accurate and timely information, guiding them through the repair process and ensuring exceptional service.
• Ensure compliance with all insurance client requirements, processes and metrics.
• Coordinate with production team and DRP partners, communicating customer requests and repair plans.
• Participate in daily production walks and team meetings to align on repair status and KPIs.
• Maintain documentation and communication with customers and insurance companies throughout the repair process.
