Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Estimator in Training to learn how to diagnose and prepare repair estimates in alignment with insurance partner and company guidelines. You will support the estimator, communicate value, and contribute to a high closed sales ratio.

You will greet customers, map vehicle damage, photograph, and upload information to CCC One while coordinating with production. A strong emphasis is placed on accuracy, teamwork, and ongoing learning in a fast-paced collision

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required.
• Prior customer service experience.
• 16 I-CAR units within the first 12 months of employment.
• Preferred: 4-6 years related work experience; photo-imaging software experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet customer at repair drop-off and build rapport.
• Maps damage with customer and WOW opportunities.
• Uploads photos and notes to CCC One with arrival time.
• Finalizes estimate using Repair Planning Template.
• Notifies production and manages estimate during teardown.
• Reviews and adjusts estimates with technicians as needed.
