Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in the United States is seeking an Estimator in Training to learn the estimating process alongside our lead estimator. You will diagnose repair needs, prepare accurate estimates, and maintain strong customer relationships to drive high closed sales.

You will map damage with customers, upload photos, coordinate with production, and support insurance claims while adhering to our WOW standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required.
• 16 I-CAR units within the first 12 months of employment.
• Preferred: 4–6 years related work experience; photo-imaging software experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customer at repair drop off and build rapport.
• Map damage with customer (previous, current loss, WOW opportunities).
• Prepare final estimate using Repair Planning Template and upload to CCC One.
• Notify production that vehicle has arrived and place in production queue; verify estimate during teardown.
• Update customer regularly (frequency per management standards).
• Assist insurance adjusters with damage reports and claim re-inspections.
