Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in California seeks an Estimator in Training to learn diagnosing and preparing estimates for repair in line with insurance partner and company guidelines. You will communicate the value Gerber provides, aiming for a high close rate while delivering accurate estimates.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, mapping damage, photographing, uploading to CCC One, finalizing estimates, and coordinating with the repair team and insurance adjusters as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required.
• Prior customer service experience is required.
• Must complete 16 I-CAR units within the first 12 months.
• Preferred: 4–6 years related work experience; photo-imaging software experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers at drop-off and build rapport.
• Map damage with customer and identify WOW opportunities.
• Prepare initial photographs and upload to CCC One with details.
• Finalize estimates using Repair Planning Template.
• Communicate with insurance adjusters as needed.
