Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is offering an Estimator in Training position at our Florence, SC location. You will learn to diagnose and prepare accurate repair estimates in line with guidelines, supporting insurance partners and the company to drive profitable decisions.

You will work closely with an estimator, map damages, manage photos and notes, and communicate with customers to review estimates and set expectations. A high school diploma or GED with customer service experience is required.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Prior customer service experience helpful.
• Completion of 16 I-CAR units within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and build rapport at repair drop-off.
• Assist in mapping damage and preparing initial estimates.
• Finalize estimates using Repair Planning Template and communicate with customers.
