Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Indiana is seeking an Estimator in Training to learn how to diagnose and prepare estimates for repair in accordance with partner guidelines. The apprentice also helps communicate Gerber's value, aiming for a high closed sales ratio.

You will work closely with the Estimator, participate in production meetings, assist insurance adjusters, and build accurate damage maps while supporting customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Computer literate and proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Must currently possess or complete 16 I-CAR units within 12 months.
• Preferred: 4–6 years related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW plan.
• Greets customer at repair drop off and builds rapport.
• Maps damage with customer and identifies opportunities.
• Uploads photos and notes to CCC One and arranges production queue.
• Notifies production and verifies estimate during teardown.
• Finalizes estimate using Repair Planning Template.
• Supports insurance adjusters and communicates with customers.
