Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Estimator in Training to learn to diagnose and prepare estimates for repair per company guidelines. Role includes communicating value to customers to achieve high close rates.

Responsibilities involve greeting customers, mapping damage, coordinating with production, and finalizing estimates with the Repair Planning Template. Requires high school diploma and 16 I-CAR units in first year.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required.
• Prior customer service experience.
• Must complete 16 I-CAR units within the first 12 months of employment.
• Preferred: 4-6 years related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet customer at repair drop off and build rapport.
• Maps damage with customer and identifies WOW opportunities.
• Notifies production and verifies estimate during teardown.
• Finalizes estimate using Repair Planning Template.
• Updates customer regularly per management standards.
