Job summary

Rosendin Electric, Inc. seeks an experienced Estimating Manager to lead a team of estimators, plan bid strategies, and prepare comprehensive cost estimates for electrical construction projects. You will mentor staff, review proposals, and align estimates with project objectives.

You will work under the Chief Estimator, coordinating with operations to ensure successful bid outcomes and a smooth project turnover at turnover.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of estimating techniques and cost control.
• Read and interpret blueprints/design drawings.
• Perform arithmetic calculations required for estimating.
• Estimate all types of projects and supervise group work.
• Mentor and assist Estimators.

Responsibilities

• Establish project objectives, procedures, and deliverables.
• Prepare the estimate from quantity take-off and finalize the bid package.
• Provide direction to direct reports and ensure processes followed.
• Review labor productivity and unit costs; review quotes.
• Formally train Estimators and Sr. Estimators.
• Meet with project management after bid turnover for readiness.
