Job summary

Rosendin Electric is seeking a Senior Estimator to prepare bid documents and cost estimates for electrical construction projects. As Lead Estimator, you will coordinate with estimators, suppliers, and customers to complete accurate estimates and ensure competitive bids.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's in Construction Management or Engineering, at least four years of estimating experience, and proficiency in Accubid, Livecount Cloud, Bluebeam, and CAD/3D tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum 4 years’ estimating experience in construction.
• Experience with Accubid, Livecount Cloud and Bluebeam.
• CAD or 3D software experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare estimates from quantity takeoffs and complete bid packages.
• Lead and oversee discipline sub-estimates for bids.
• Review drawings and specs and attend pre-bid meetings.
• Identify value engineering opportunities to reduce costs.
• Solicit quotes from qualified suppliers/subcontractors.
• Maintain bid data and Rosendin estimating program.
• Explain scope and pricing to project teams at turnover.
