The Estimating Manager for the Critical Infrastructure Group oversees daily estimating operations across projects, ensuring accurate takeoffs and timely delivery while aligning with company standards. This role collaborates with regional leadership, sales, and PreBid teams to drive strategic bid pursuits, quality assurance, and design-build input, while coaching Estimator I

Qualifications

8+ years of experience in estimating for water/wastewater, industrial, or critical infrastructure projects.
Experience supervising estimating teams.
Experience with design-build support and value engineering.
Experience working directly with contractors, engineering firms, vendors, and sales organizations.
Experience implementing standardized estimating practices across teams.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily estimating operations for all project types and complexity levels.
Ensure accurate, consistent, and timely material quantity takeoffs across the regional estimating team.
Assign and monitor project workloads, balancing capacity across teams and regions.
Manage work calendar and deadlines.
Review complex takeoffs for accuracy and completeness.
Provide coaching and development to Estimator I through Lead Estimator.
Deliver regular reporting on productivity, accuracy, and team performance.
