Job summary

Core & Main, a leading infrastructure solutions provider, is seeking an Estimating Manager for the Critical Infrastructure Group. You will oversee day-to-day estimating operations, ensure high-quality material takeoffs, and guide design-build bids nationwide.

Responsibilities include coordinating with regional estimators, pre-bid teams, sales, and engineering to standardize practices, improve accuracy, and drive strategic pursuits.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of bid pricing, sales, or construction experience.
• Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools used in construction.
• Professional certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily estimating operations for multiple project types and complexities.
• Review complex takeoffs for accuracy and completeness; ensure high quality results.
• Guide design-build discussions; support major regional pursuits and strategic bid approaches.
• Collaborate with regional estimating, sales, and engineering teams to ensure scope clarity and standardized practices.
