Job summary

WSP Hailey, ID seeks an ESSP Electrical Engineer to join our Hailey office. You will contribute to electrical studies, SCADA & protection within the ESSP team on power delivery projects, substations, generation facilities, and distribution networks.

You'll apply three-phase power knowledge and collaborate across design, protection, and field teams, with opportunities to advance in protective relaying, planning studies, and network design. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited electrical engineering degree or equivalent
• 3–5 years of design or device configuration experience
• Knowledge of electrical engineering principles, design/build, and permitting
• Strong communication and teamwork
• Ability to work independently with attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical studies, SCADA and protection work.
• Support planning studies, real/ reactive power flows, and contingencies.
• Write technical reports with findings and conclusions.
• Collaborate with project teams; travel to project sites as needed.
• Assist risk assessment, field coordination, and permitting activities
