Job summary

WSP seeks an experienced ESSP Electrical Engineer for its Phoenix, AZ office. You will work on electrical studies, SCADA, and protection tasks within the ESSP team for diverse projects.

Required: ABET-accredited BSEE, 3–5 years in design or configuration, strong communication, and ability to travel to project sites. Relocation not available. WSP offers comprehensive benefits and a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BSEE or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years of design or device configuration experience.
• Strong knowledge of electrical power systems and protection.
• Analytical mindset with good judgement.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical studies, SCADA and protection tasks.
• Support power delivery projects across conventional and renewable sources.
• Develop protection schemes, relay settings, and grid coordination.
• Prepare technical reports and calculations with clear documentation.
• Travel to project sites as needed.
