Job summary

WSP is seeking an ESSP Electrical Engineer for our Denver, CO office to work on electrical studies, SCADA and protection projects. You will contribute to planning studies, relay settings, and documentation while collaborating with an expanding energy team.

The role offers exposure to conventional and renewable generation facilities, substations, and transmission systems with opportunities to travel to project sites as needed.

Qualifications

  • ABET-accredited degree in electrical/related field.
  • 3–5 years of design or device configuration experience.
  • Strong understanding of power systems and permitting.

Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical studies, SCADA and protection work.
  • Support protective relaying design and relay settings calculations.
  • Assist with planning studies including load flow and voltage stability.
  • Document analyses with sketches, calculations and reports.
  • Travel to project sites as needed.
