Job summary

The Salvation Army Family Haven Shelter in St. Louis, MO, seeks an Emergency Social Services Case Manager to provide intake, assessment, and Pathway of Hope services. The role includes coordinating with community resources and managing client goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human services with 1 year related work experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Outgoing personality with strong communication and ability to work with diverse cultures.
• Reliable transportation, a valid Driver’s License, and pass TSA MVR check.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills; commitment to The Salvation Army’s mission.

Responsibilities

• Provide intake and assessment for ESS; manage Pathway of Hope (POH) services.
• Screen POH clients, set goals, and monitor progress.
• Distribute food, vouchers, and payments; refer clients to other agencies as needed.
• Network with community resources and coordinate referrals; liaise with clients and agencies.
• Input client information into SIMS and maintain case documentation.
• Provide on-site and outreach assistance to clients seeking emergency services.
