Job summary

The teacher will collaborate with content teachers, ensure language development across four domains, and align lessons to WIDA ELD standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree preferred.
• Hold a valid Massachusetts Teaching License in ESL at the appropriate grade level.
• Ability to meet the Standards of Effective Teaching as outlined by the district.

Responsibilities

• Teach ESL instruction to multilingual learners identified as English Learners.
• Collaborate with content teachers to align instruction with language development across four domains.
• Collaborate with instructional leadership to ensure language support and academic assistance.
• Assist with ACCESS administration oversight and delivery.
• Plan and deliver lessons aligned to WIDA ELD Standards for varying proficiency levels.
• Demonstrate cultural proficiency and use culturally relevant instructional practices.
• Integrate technology as an instructional tool and for productivity.
