Job summary

First American is seeking an Escrow Servicing Operations Specialist for ServiceMac to process escrow functions across the loan lifecycle, including flood insurance, zone determinations, policy maintenance, and disbursements.

The role requires 1+ year mortgage servicing experience, strong written and verbal communication, and solid MS Office skills; you will ensure regulatory compliance, accurate accounting of disbursements, and timely reporting in a collaborative, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Preferred Bachelor’s Degree with 1+ years of mortgage servicing experience.
• Strong written, presentation and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of mortgage servicing requirements helpful.

Responsibilities

• Process escrow servicing functions across the loan lifecycle.
• Monitor service delivery, productivity and quality for flood insurance activities.
• Handle escrow documents and disbursements accurately and timely.
• Research exceptions and process off-cycle requests.
• Maintain general account maintenance and accurate disbursement accounting.
• Respond to internal customer inquiries with clear evaluation and resolution.
• Ensure compliance with RESPA, CFPB, NFIP and related guidelines.
• Produce and monitor required departmental reports and workflows.
• Perform basic math related to escrow servicing.
• Maintain accurate accounting of escrow disbursements.
