Job summary

First American is seeking a detail‑oriented Escrow Tax Servicing specialist to support process execution across the loan lifecycle. You will manage escrow documents, perform maintenance, and ensure regulatory compliance while delivering accurate reporting and timely responses to internal inquiries.

The role requires strong communication, problem solving, and organizational skills, with a preferred bachelor’s degree and mortgage environment exposure.

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Process escrow servicing functions throughout the loan lifecycle from acquisition to ongoing servicing and transfers.
• Monitor service delivery, productivity, and quality standards for tax processes.
• Process escrow-related documents and disbursements accurately and timely.
• Perform general escrow account maintenance.
• Research and respond to internal customer requests and inquiries, evaluating factors and resolving issues.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and legal requirements including investor/state guidelines.
• Manage departmental reporting and workflows, ensuring timely completion.
• Conduct basic mathematical calculations related to escrow servicing.
• Maintain accurate accounting of escrow disbursements.
• Conduct quality reviews and verification of information from tax assessors and sources.
• Monitor service delivery and quality for Tax vendors.
