Job summary

First American is seeking an Escrow Tax Specialist to support escrow tax processes and ensure timely, accurate handling of loan servicing activities. You will work on document processing, disbursements, and compliance reviews while supporting internal customers and the regulatory framework.

The role requires 1+ year mortgage servicing exposure, strong communication, and MS Office proficiency. A Bachelor's degree is preferred, with a focus on accuracy and teamwork in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Preferred Bachelors Degree
• 1+ years of experience working in a mortgage environment, preferably Mortgage Loan Servicing

Responsibilities

• Process escrow servicing functions throughout the loan lifecycle, from loan acquisition through ongoing servicing and servicing transfers.
• Monitor service delivery, productivity, and quality standards for tax processes.
• Process escrow-related documents and disbursements accurately and timely.
• Perform general escrow account maintenance
• Research and respond to internal customer requests and inquiries by evaluating relevant factors, resolving issues, and determining whether additional loans may be impacted.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and legal requirements, including investor and state guidelines.
