Job summary

Wills Group in La Plata, Maryland seeks a Financial Application Analyst to own the Finance and Accounting ERP (PDI), optimizing configuration, controls, data quality, and reporting across integrations.

You will partner with Accounting, Treasury, IT, and business teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions, lead testing and documentation, and drive adoption of reconciliation and treasury management tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience supporting, implementing, or optimizing ERP/financial applications.
• Strong understanding of GL, month-end close, reconciliations, and internal controls.
• Experience gathering business requirements, mapping processes, testing system changes, and supporting implementations or upgrades.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to trace transactions across systems.
• Advanced Excel skills and ability to work with financial data and reports.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Finance and Accounting SME and owner for PDI ERP configuration, controls, and reporting.
• Partner with Accounting, Treasury, FP&A, IT, and operations to translate requirements into system solutions.
• Monitor data integrity and investigate interface, posting, reconciliation, and reporting issues with IT and vendors.
• Establish monitoring for key financial interfaces, including ownership and financial impact.
• Lead selection and deployment of a reconciliation tool and a treasury management system (TMS).
• Manage enhancements and upgrades from requirements through testing and post-implementation support.
• Develop and maintain finance-owned reports, data extracts, and analytical tools.
