Job summary

Zilka & Company in Allentown, PA is seeking a full-time Data Entry/Customer Service Representative to handle orders, maintain ERP records, and support customers.

The ideal candidate will multitask, communicate clearly, use Excel and the ERP system, and ensure accuracy and timely responses, with a strong focus on data integrity and service quality.

This role requires attention to detail, the ability to meet deadlines, and professional phone manners, with Monday–Friday daylight hours.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Data entry skill is required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Experience in a customer service/order entry environment preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and basic math skills.
• Must be able to recognize data inconsistencies, work independently and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail and highly proficient in data entry.
• Professional phone manner and commitment to excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Receive, prepare and enter customer orders into the ERP system.
• Review orders for completeness and accuracy.
• Contact customers to take orders.
• Respond to customer inquiries, complaints, and issues.
• Process sales representative orders, pricing, and credits related to customer orders.
• Answer questions from sales staff and customers regarding products and orders using information available from the inventory and distribution management software.
• Other duties may be assigned.
