Job summary

The University of Georgia seeks an Organizational Development and Change Management Consultant within the Division of University Human Resources to design and implement development and change strategies, engage stakeholders, and partner across units to ensure successful adoption of a new ERP system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent with 5 years of professional experience.
• Master’s degree in HR, Organizational Development, Business, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in organizational development, change management, or talent development.
• 2+ years of experience leading large-scale system implementations.
• Certification in Change Management (e.g., Prosci) and/or Organizational Development preferred.
• Strong facilitation, analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to guide groups through complex discussions and collaborative problem-solving.
• Familiarity with change management frameworks (Prosci, Kotter).

Responsibilities

• Lead ERP implementation efforts with stakeholder engagement and adoption strategies.
• Develop and execute change management plans aligned with ERP milestones.
• Conduct change impact analyses and organizational readiness assessments.
• Partner with ERP Change Management team across functional workstreams.
• Design reinforcement strategies to sustain adoption post-implementation.
• Collaborate with University HR departments to align initiatives.
• Track progress of initiatives and report outcomes to leadership.
• Research best practices in organizational development and change management.
