Change Management Specialist

Position Summary

The Change Management Specialist supports organizational change initiatives by delivering training and engagement sessions and contributing to organizational development (OD) and change management efforts, particularly in support of ERP implementation. This role assists in conducting organizational assessments, supporting the development of OD and change plans, and contributing to the implementation of initiatives that enhance organizational effectiveness and adoption. The position may support program development, facilitate workshops, and analyze feedback and data to inform continuous improvement.

Scope of Work

Key responsibilities:

  • Facilitate instructor‑led sessions focused on resilience, communication through change, and team alignment workshops during the ERP transition.
  • Deliver high‑quality training using established curricula while adapting delivery based on audience needs, team dynamics, and stage of change.
  • Reinforce key ERP project change messages and organizational priorities through structured and interactive learning experiences.
  • Engage teams and lead conversations around role clarity, expectations, and alignment as work evolves during organizational change.
  • Coach managers and teams in navigating uncertainty, shifting priorities, and new ways of working.
  • Partner with Change Champions to foster an engaging environment that encourages participation, reflection, and dialogue.
  • Coordinate logistics for training sessions, including scheduling, materials preparation, and coordination with stakeholders.
  • Track attendance, participation, and completion of sessions.
  • Adapt materials and activities based on participant needs and feedback.
  • Collect and analyze participant feedback to assess effectiveness of sessions and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Identify trends and themes related to team challenges, resistance, and alignment gaps.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of training content, facilitation approaches, and engagement strategies.

Work Schedule – Full‑time, Monday‑Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m., on‑site in Athens, Georgia.

Compensation

$44,494 – $66,674 (commensurate with experience).

Duration

Limited‑term appointment, initial 2‑3 years, ending December 2028. Potential for extension or transition to a regular position depending on project needs and funding.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent and 2 years of professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience facilitating training, workshops, or team workshops.
  • 2+ years of experience in education, training, HR, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience driving technology system adoptions.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Comfort engaging with various audiences.
