This role blends hands-on mentoring on the floor with strategic program development, building confidence and careers in veterinary emergency medicine.

Travel to VEG hospitals in the region is required; a passion for teaching and improving patient care drives your daily work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CVT/RVT/LVT/LVMT credential in the state VEG practice.
• Emergency medicine knowledge.
• Teaching/training experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel between VEG hospitals.

Responsibilities

• Identify training needs with leadership.
• Assess assistants and technicians through observation.
• Drive advancement via VEG's Cultivate program.
• Implement training programs as the go-to training lead at your hospital.
• Split time between on-floor mentoring and strategic development.
• Provide hands-on training for all learning styles and skill levels.
• Organize peer training opportunities and mentoring culture.
• Collaborate with nursing managers to broaden impact.
• Develop and refine training content (presentations, videos, simulations).
• Ensure training aligns with VEG culture and emergency standards.
