Qualifications

• BLS certification included in orientation and required before patient care.

Responsibilities

• Support nursing practice on the unit under RN/medical staff supervision.
• Perform designated activities within licensed scope for unlicensed nursing personnel.
• Conduct ECGs and splinting as directed in ED/Unit settings; assist in emergencies.
• Collaborate with nursing and providers when patient parameters are abnormal or critical.
