Job summary

Emerus is seeking an ER Technician to provide technical assistance and supportive patient care across assigned areas. You will collect vital signs, assist with labs, and support safe patient handling during admissions, transfers, and discharges.

Must have applicable training (CMA/EMT/PARAMEDIC) and current BLS; ACLS/PALS preferred in many markets. The role requires English fluency and commitment to patient privacy and infection control.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Certification in BLS required.
• ACLS/ALS certification required in most markets.
• PALS certification strongly preferred.
• Experience with IV start, phlebotomy and EKG initiation preferred.
• EMT-P/EMT-A/LP with related experience enhances candidacy.

Responsibilities

• Collect, report, and document clinical data and vital signs.
• Collect lab samples and perform tests per policy and regulations.
• Assist with patient activities and care as directed.
• Provide superficial wound care.
• Ensure patient safety and privacy at all times.
• Maintain clean, aseptic environments and infection control measures.
• Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge.

3+ years as Certified Anesthesia Tech/OR Tech (Wisconsin market)
