Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Completion of Medical Corpsman program or EMT/Paramedic credentials with 1 year of applicable experience.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS/ALS often required in most markets.
• Experience with phlebotomy, IV starts, and EKG initiation is strongly preferred.
• English fluency, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Collect, report, and document clinical data including vital signs and specimens.
• Perform lab testing in accordance with policy and regulations.
• Assist with patient activities and follow the plan of care.
• Maintain patient safety and privacy; ensure aseptic technique and infection control.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges; travel to facility locations as needed.
