HCA Florida Largo West Hospital in Largo, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse Emergency Room PRN to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in the ED. The RN collaborates with physicians and care teams, coordinates assessments, treatments, and education for patients and families.

This PRN role requires current Florida RN licensure and certification in ACLS, BCLS, ENPC or PALS, NIH Stroke Scale, and NCI, with at least one year of ER experience.

Formación

• ACLS within 30 days of employment start date.
• BCLS within 30 days of employment start date.
• ENPC or PALS within 30 days of employment start date.
• NIH Stroke Scale within 6 months of employment start date.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention within 30 days of employment start date.
• (RN) Registered Nurse (Associate Degree)
• 1 year ER experience required

Responsabilidades

• Assesses patient pain regularly to promote effective pain management.
• Performs procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s).
• Documents the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
• Responds promptly to patient requests and strives to anticipate patient needs.
• Teaches patients and families about condition, treatment plan, medications and follow-up measures.
