Job summary

HCA Florida Largo Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for Emergency Room PRN shifts. This role focuses on coordinating and delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with physicians and the care team.

You will document care in the medical record and respond promptly to patient needs. The position requires ACLS, BCLS, ENPC or PALS, NIH Stroke Scale, and Nonviolent Crisis Intervention within set timelines, with RN (Associate Degree), and at least 1 year of experience.

Qualifications

• RN (Associate Degree) required
• ACLS within 30 days of start date
• BCLS within 30 days of start date
• ENPC or PALS within 30 days of start date
• NIH Stroke Scale within 6 months of start date
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention within 30 days of start date

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in the Emergency Room
• Perform procedures, monitoring, and documentation as ordered by medical staff
• Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and follow-up steps
• Support self-management through guidance on healthy lifestyle choices
