Job summary

The role requires 2 years of ER experience, Florida RN licensure, and current BLS; ACLS and PALS/ENPC must be obtained within 6 months. BSN preferred, acute care experience valued.

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license or compact license with FL activation within 60 days of hire.
• Minimum 2 years of ER RN experience for PRN role.
• Current BLS; ACLS and either PALS or ENPC within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient pain and promote effective pain management with reassessments.
• Perform procedures and document care in the medical record promptly.
• Respond to patient requests; anticipate needs and resolve issues.
• Educate patients and families about condition, treatment, and follow-up.
• Provide discharge instructions and health promotion guidance.
