Job summary

HCA Florida Stuart Emergency is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse (RN) to join our emergency department team. The RN coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care under Florida state guidelines, working with physicians and care staff to ensure timely, compassionate treatment.

This role emphasizes assessment, teaching, and advocacy for patients and families. Requirements include an active Florida RN license, at least 2 years of ER experience, and ACLS/BLS/PALS certifications.

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license is required.
• 2+ years ER experience required.
• ACLS,BLS,PALS, and other certified must be obtained within specified timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage patient pain with regular reassessments.
• Perform procedures and document care in the medical record.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs.
• Educate patients and families about condition, plan, medications and side effects.
• Coach patients on non-medicinal follow-up measures and self-management.
