A Florida RN license (or compact) is required, with BSN preferred and ACLS/PALS within set timelines. The role emphasizes clinical expertise, patient safety, teamwork, and communication in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• Florida RN license (or compact) with active FL license within 60 days.
• Nursing Diploma or ASN; BSN preferred.
• Experience in acute care setting preferred.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS certification within 6 months.
• PALS/ENPC certifications within 6 months.
• NIHSS certification within 6 months.
• Strong reading, verbal, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage efficient flow of patients including triage, screening, preparation for exam, and admissions.
• Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions.
• Maintain and review patients’ records including posting tests and examination results.
• Administer medications in accordance with physician orders.
