HCA Florida Palms West Hospital in Palm Beach County, FL, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department PRN. The RN will coordinate and deliver patient-centered care in collaboration with the ED team, following established nursing models to ensure excellent outcomes.

Qualified candidates will hold an RN license in Florida, with ACLS, BLS, PALS, and Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certifications to be obtained within set timelines.

Qualifications

• RN coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care per department standards.
• Documents care in the electronic medical record in a timely, thorough manner.
• Teaches patients and families about condition, treatment plan, and follow-up.
• Responds promptly to patient requests and anticipates needs.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS and Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certifications required within set timelines.

Responsabilités

• Assess pain regularly to promote effective pain management.
• Perform procedures and document care per physician orders.
• Provide patient and family education on conditions, treatment, and self-care.
• Advocate for patients and coordinate with the care team.
• Translate medical information into understandable terms.
