Job summary

Carson Valley Health in Gardnerville, NV is seeking an Emergency RN – Per Diem to provide professional nursing care in a fast-paced ED. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients across the lifespan, working with a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires an associates degree in nursing, NV RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and TNCC within 6 months. Per diem offers a 15% increase to hourly rate; schedule is as-needed.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in nursing or higher.
• Current Nevada RN license.
• Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) required within 6 months of hire.
• Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) recommended.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in the Emergency Department, assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care.
• Coordinate with the care team to address patient needs and education.
• Adhere to medication administration policies and maintain accurate documentation.
• Perform routine and emergency nursing procedures per unit standards.
